Modified Tiredness Management Aplication on Tiredness and Self Care Behaviour in Primigravid Postpartum Women at RSIA Kendangsari Surabaya
Fatigue is nursing problem that is often experienced by mothers postpartum, but now there is a lot of maternity nurses who provide intervention to resolve the issue. Tiredness Management is the management of fatigue-based self-care that can help reduces fatigue mothers after childbirth. The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of tiredness Management modification to decrease fatigue and increase self-care behavior in postpartum primigravida mothers in RSIA Kendangsari Surabaya. Design of this study is posttest only design. The populations in this study were primigravida postpartum mothers who spontaneus vaginal delivery and caesarean section in RSIA Kendangsari Surabaya. The independent variable in this study is a modified Tiredness Management, and the dependent variable in this study is a fatigue score and self-care behavior. Modified Tiredness Management intervention delivered in the form of education and provision of booklets, fatigue measurements using questionnaires, and measurements of self care behavior using a checklist.
