Comparison of Deep Breathing Ralxation and Autogenic Relaxation for pain Response of Post Caaesarean Section Cibabat Hospital Cimahi
Caesarean section delivery affect the health status of the mother and baby. Risks that may occur bleeding, thromboembolism and infection during the postpartum period. Nonpharmacological therapies aimed to reducing the pain one is breathing relaxation techniques and autogenic relaxation. Autogenic relaxation techniques provide a calming effect on the body and mind, relaxation and deep breathing is a form of nursing care for complementary therapy. To reduce post- cesarean pain response with deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation. Type of quasi experimental study with non- randomized study design with pretest - posttest control group design. Treatment using deep breathing relaxation techniques and autogenic. Analysis of the data using paired t-test. The mean pain response of a group of mothers before deep breathing relaxation is 5.57, and the mean pain response of the mother after deep breathing relaxation is 4.43. There is a decrease pain response after deep breathing relaxation of 1.14. There is significant difference between the mean response before and after deep breathing relaxation intervention. The mean pain response of a group of mother before autogenic relaxation is 5.57, and the mean pain response of the mother after autogenic relaxation is 3.67. There is a decrease in pain response after autogenic relaxation was 1.9. There is significant difference between the mean pain response before and after autogenic relaxation. There are differences in the mean of pain response between groups of women with deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation. The pain response score is 1.143 in the group of mothers with deep breathing relaxation, which is lower than in the group of mothers with autogenic relaxation. The pain response scores is 1.905. Deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation decrease in pain response for post caesarean section. There are differences in the mean difference in pain response between groups of women with deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation.
