The Relationship Between Husbands Social Support and Baby Blues Syndrome Case on Postpartum Mothers
Psychologically a post partum mother is going through the process of adapting psychological post partum period. In this period some of women are able to adapt to the new roles as a good mother. Not all mothers can adapt with it. Some of them can not succeed in passing through this period and they undergo psychological disorder in post partum period. This study is aimed to know the correlation between husband social support and baby blues case in postpartum mothers. This study uses correlational analytics which is the design cross-sectional. The population is all postpartum mothers which are eligible in the criteria to be examined. There are 32 mothers as the sample. The sample whom are examined are postpartum mother meets the criteria for inclusion. Data collection using simple random sampling Technique. The independent variable is husbands social support and the dependent variable is baby blues and the husband is the genesis of the baby blues syndrome. The statistical test used Chi-Square with a level of significance alpha < 0,05. The result of the research is there is relationship between husbands social support and baby blues cases. Hoped health workers can participate actively in providing counseling about baby blues syndrome cases which usually happened to a mother in the after childbirth.
