Home Care Influence Toward Increase Nutrition Status for Malnutrition Children Under Five
Prevalence of malnourished children under fiveis an indicator of Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) that should be reach in a region in 2015. Prevalence of nutrition base of weight for height (WFH) in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta showed that children under five prevalence with very lean nutrition status was about 2,6 percent and lean about 6,5 percent. Community Therapeutic Care combining three approaches to handling malnourished children including community intervention, home based treatment for malnourished children without complication and stabilization center for malnourished children with complication. This study aims to find out the changing of nutrition status of malnourished children under five through home care program in Yogyakarta. This research in quantitative research with Quasi Experimental. Research conducted an intervention study with a pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling technique used consecutive sampling technique is either the intervention group or the control group. A total of 60 respondents were recruited into this study. The research was carried out for 4 months from the month of January 2013 until April 2013. Analysis data used paired t-test and independent t-test.
